Hi, you have reached the site of Rog Van. I like to fish for Bass during the spring, summer and fall months.
Work on and drive my 1939 DeSoto street rod year round. During the winter months I keep busy at the bowling alley. As
of 12-20-2007 I have a new project to work on. It's a 1940 Chrysler Royal.
I might put a picture of myself on this page...like the one to the right or just a picture that I especially like.(is
that really me?)

What's New?
I finally got my DeSoto back on the road in June of 2002. I changed the whole drive line.
Motor (330 ci DeSoto hemi), transmission (automatic w/overdrive) and rearend (out of a 1974 Dodge Charger). Put a power rack
and pinion setup on it, tilt steering colum, power disc brakes, all new wiring and a few other things over this last
winter.
7/22-02 - Added new photos of my DeSoto Street Rod.
10/20/2004 Well, I have finally made up my mind to tare the DeSoto all apart and do a complete resto of
everything that didn't get done back in 2002. Like paint, glass, interior, etc.

Well, I finally got it all back together after being apart for the last two years. I tore it down to just the
bare body setting on the frame. I then had the body media blasted in preperation for painting. While apart I had all of the
chrome re-plated, put new windows in with new rubber and many many more items changed or re-done. I've updated some pictures
of it too. Wow does it look good now!!

I just bought a 1940 Chrysler Royal coupe to work on. I feel another cool streetrod coming. The wish
list will be long I'm sure. We'll have to wait and see just what happens.
